Festival Foods Fire Over the Fox “Old Fashioned Fourth of July” kickoff event begins at the replica Liberty Bell on the Brown County Courthouse grounds.
Join Miss Green Bay Area, Green Bay Mayor Jim Schmitt, Brown County Executive Tom Hinz, Festival Foods – Fire Over the Fox representative Nick Arlt, and special July 4th Birthday Guests for a traditional Independence Day celebration.
A new American Citizen, tutored by Literacy Green Bay, will be receiving Citizen Scholarship check from the Green Bay Area Exchange Club, and will share ”What it means to me to be a U.S. Citizen.”
The “Liberty Day Kids” will also return to give away free flags, treats, balloons, Declaration of Independence and Constitution booklets, stickers and more.
Everyone gets to ring the 2000 lb. replica Liberty Bell! (Don’t forget your camera!)
The first 200 attendees donating a non-perishable food item for Ben’s Wish and the local hunger coalition will receive a $2 Bill (Depicts the Signing of the Declaration of Independence). |
